Today I woke up after staying up till a record 2:20 am. Landon came in bed with me at about 6:45 and then Linzey was jealous and so we all just got up because 1 adult and 2 kids can't fit into a twin size bed... just not possible without being very uncomfortable. Landon during breakfast decided that he was going to bring me a half eaten apple on the oven mit... it was so cute. He again showed us that he loves to do his trademark look for the camera!
So Andrea and I started our day by going out and getting the lawn mowed, stirring our compost pile, and starting to demolish the shrubs surrounding the front yard which is nasty. We were using this hacking away at the bushes and using that as our anger management. We decided early on to call the missionaries and see if they could help us.
After that we went to a kickboxing class that we had been invited to, by TerriLyn and Pam, with free passes... and it was AWESOME! I definately got my trash kicked doing that hour and a half class... but enjoyed every minute of it. They had some amazing moves and now my buttocks, shoulders, and legs ache.
After we were done and came back home, we found the missionaries working hard on the bushes/shrubs... and they had gotten a lot done. So we continued to help them with the kids playhing outside and then they needed to leave for a baptism that was scheduled. But as they were leaving Brother Marrott from just down the road drove up and jumped out to help us. He had brought his electric saw and went to town helping us with the Project. In about an hour we had the entire shrub out and made plans for towing away the remains of it for Monday. I can't believe that we got that all out and done. I didn't imagine that we would ever get that done in one day let alone just a few hours. The Lord definitely sent some helpers our way today to help us.
This is me helping Brother Marrott out with the branches that he'd cut. Right when this was taken the branch gave and therefore I landed on my toosh. It was really quite funny. :D
This is me... whistle while you work... I actually love to do hard labor sometimes. It makes me feel empowered and strong.
This is my roomie, Andrea. You can tell I don't mess with her when she has a power tool in her possession.
Oh and no we don't drink... but this is a picture of the things that we found in the shrub as we were demoing it. Thought it was funny. Included: Bud bottle, CD, Hershey's wrapper, lava rocks, part of a baseball undone, and many, many shrub sections that we trimmed off.
So while we were doing the shrubs with the missionaries... the kids decided to sit in eachother's car seats. It was really cute. This was right before nap time for the kiddos.
Last night before the kids went to bed, Landon had asked for an apple and so we cut up and apple and split it between the 3 kids: Linzey, Landon and Brielle. As I was sitting on the floor talking to my roomie, Andrea, Landon came and sat down and then Brielle came and sat on my other leg... so of course Linzey had to be in on the attention action and came and plopped down right in the middle. It was really cute and they were all into their apples that they had.
When I was in Quincy last weekend, my sister, Jenny, gave us a pumpkin for Landon. So this morning (as you can tell because they are still in their pajamas), Landon decided to sit on the pumpkin. Then Brielle had to of course, but I thought it was a good time to bring out the camera.
Life is good... I'm exhausted... and still have a bunch of medical terminology words to memorize. I am planning on taking my test for this last 2 weeks on Monday and am stressing already because we have definately done more than I thought we would and so that has cut into my studying time. So I am blogging right now instead of being glued to the computer tonight when the kids are asleep in hopes of making time for myself to study as my roomie blogs instead. :)

Wow, you just don't stop do you? Nice work. I enjoy all the hard labor every once in a while too. It is very satisfying.
And I know I already said this, but Autumn you look really good. So thin and stuff. You have inspired me to start working out again.
Ditto what Kate said, You look great! I think I better get on the elliptical and not on the computer :D
What a busy day, but the soreness must feel so great knowing it is from good hard work.
Landon is adorable. That signature look just makes me grin.
Ooh, looks like you guys had fun!!!
And ditto to the other comments, you look fantastic, hot momma!
