So today when I walked outside, I could finally see my breath. I also had frost on my windshield. It was exciting! I love the fall season. I love the changing of the colors on the trees, the quails I see in the yards in the mornings, and the crispness in the air. I love being bundled up in coats and socks. Oh I just love this time of year! I am surprised that just last month someone pointed out that my favorite colors which are red, yellow, and orange are actually fall colors! I have had those colors for years and have never made that connection.
I am stressing out in my class online at CBC. I still have 13 words I need to memorize tonight and am sitting here writing my second blog instead. I have folded laundry all around me that needs to be put away and I still have a jello salad to make, but I wanted to put just one more blog up for today. I think that I will really come to love this. Oh the list goes on and on. We just got the internet today and so hence the reason why I am still on the computer instead of studying.
I am extremely bored at work. Over the weekend I didn't receive any new cases while the other building received multiple cases. So the days drag on and the hours linger longer. I love my job though. I love the people I get to work with and the typical 9-5 bankers hours. The only thing that stinks is that twice a day I have to drive to Pasco to drop off Landon to daycare and then come all the way back to Kennewick for work and home. So I will need to start checking out other daycares in the area to save on time and gas, but that is yet another thing to add to the already long to-do-list.
I have two pumpkins out in the garden that are starting to turn orange. I didn't know that pumpkins start out green and then eventually turn orange. I think it's so cool. The funny thing though is that I just bought like 5 strawberry plants this summer... no pumpkin plants, so I don't know how the pumpkin plant got there and why it started to take over the garden area. I love it though. I think that next year I will be planting more of them, but start a little earlier than I did this year.
Landon is so cute. He is growing like a weed and loves his new shoes. He is in a stage where he gets possessive about his things. Maybe that is because of this "stage" or maybe it's because Brielle (my roommates daughter) acts like a bully sometimes and likes to take things away and so he has learned to be this way. He really likes to be up on my hip lately too while I'm doing things. Today we got home from work and errands and he immediately started asking for an "affil," otherwise known to us as an apple. Landon loves apples lately and can't get enough of them. He about got down to the seeds on the one that he ate this evening before bedtime.
Another funny thing that happened with Landon is the other night as Andrea and I were chatting away, like usual, Landon fell off his bed (which is only a foot above the ground so not far) and instead of crying, he proceded to get up and tried to climb back in bed. You could tell he was still half asleep and couldn't really function correctly. It was so darn cute. And then when he'd tried that for a while without success he turns around with his blanket in his hand and with his arms up says, "Mom!" :) What a little cute stinker! I loved it.
I'm finally going to get some studying done before I crash!

Welcome to blog land!! I'm excited to be able to keep in touch this way. I love the pictures, the longer descriptions - and it doesn't cost like the phone does :D (and I forget about facebook)
I also love fall - it just doesn't last long enough. Here in Rexburg we seem to have maybe a week of fall and then it's right on to the bitter winds of winter.
I hope things go well with school. I can't imagine trying to juggle that along with being a mom and working. You're awesome.
Woo hoo! Blogs are such a nice way to keep in touch with everyone, I'm so glad you joined up!! It's fun. Can't wait to hear more about life and see more photos! :)
Yay! Autumn's a blogger! First, I love your background...it is so fitting to the season and made me want to make sugar cookies for some reason (so we are going to do that next).
Second, I love the title of your blog...I think it is very fitting to your life right now.
Third, did I say YAY!? Thanks for the pics of Landon and the update. It's nice to know what is going on with you.
One thing I will say about the blog is that you shouldn't make it a stresser or it isn't fun. Only blog when you want to so that it is a break for you rather than another job...
Love ya!
Kate you are so cute... my background makes you want to make sugar cookie??? really? You made me laugh during my long boring day at work. Thank you!
I have to say that fall/winter is not my favorite here in Idaho. I really enjoyed it in Spain when it turned from 100 degree weather to 70 degree weather. I don't like to be cold.
Where do you work? You said something about cases - sounds interesting. What are you going to school for? Kate is right - the blog title fits you.
That little guy of yours is so adorable. I can't believe he fell out of bed - aren't kids so funny?
I'm glad you are blogging so I can keep updated on you. I also love reading what my sisters write as comments (sugar cookies??? LOL). It's a bright spot in my busy bee life.
